Men Healing Men

A weekend retreat full of brotherhood, embodiment, and healthy connection

November 13-15th, 2026 in Central Oregon

On your deathbed, the quality of your life will be judged by the answer you give to this question:

How much love did I give and receive?

Why this weekend exists

Most men are grieving something they've never named.

Underneath the anger and the shutdown there's a sadness most of us were never given room to feel, let alone show another man.

Our fathers and grandfathers weren't given space to express healthy masculine affection, so they couldn't show us either. We're left confused. Confused about the line between sexuality and sensuality. Stuck in a false paradox: homophobic or homoerotic. Fuck or fight.

It's on us--our generation--to do to rewrite the story of masculinity.

For the majority of us, our fathers didn't model "balanced masculinity" for us. That is what it looks like to be strong and disciplined, and at the same time loving, open, and soft. Firm on our boundaries, yet tender. And so the initiatory responsibility fell to the women.

Add to that the societal legacy of shame. We are born into shame-based homes, schools and religions. It gives us a warped relationship with our own bodies, to each other. Add to that the fact that pornography filled in the  gaps our fathers left behind...

...and it's easy to see how much deprogramming must be done in our lifetimes.

What we practice

Presence, not performance.

We've been sold sex as conquest, as performance. But sex, at its root, is the deepest practice of intimacy there is. Some call it tantra. Some call it union. Whatever you call it, you don't need to have sex to become a deeply attuned, intimate being.

If you do this training, your partner will feel it. Not because of your stamina, but because you learned to stay present. To breathe them in. To be with them in the hard and the uncomfortable. To listen without getting triggered. To courageously share your desires, your fears, your needs.

This is what they've been wanting from you for a long time.

Presence. Courage. Atunement.

The Magic of Mens Work:

A Collective Re-Fathering

When you find a group of men you can be brutally honest with, something happens. You realize you're not alone. Other men have carried the same shame, the same confusion, the same wounds.

That discovery heals you. It opens you to deeper presence, deeper emotion. And it heals the men around you too. This is what it means to serve and to receive.

No one else is going to take the lead on this. Your partner, your children, your siblings, your parents, they're waiting for you to become secure enough in your own masculinity to open your heart to them.

What we practice

Closeness, on purpose.

Touch & Contact

Grappling, resistance work, and a hug workshop. Learning to be held by another man without flinching or performing.

Father Wound Work

Facing what was and wasn't given to you as a boy, and what that's cost your own fathering, partnership, and friendships.

Grief Ritual

Moving grief through the body instead of around it. Held by the circle, not alone.

Embodiment and Breath

Getting out of the head and into the body, together, through dance, yoga, breath work, and primal movement.

Rules of Engagement

Stuff will come up--that's the point. A bulletproof container with shared agreements will keep us safe.

Sobriety

No mind-altering substances allowed on the weekend. There are plenty of other spaces for that.

Confidentiality

Everything that happens on the weekend stays on the weekend.

No Sex

Not with self or others. Again, there are plenty of other retreats for this.

Self-Sovereignty

Participants have the right to pass or sit out any activities.

Constant Consent

Before touching another participant, a man must get prior vocal consent. We practice this every step along the way.
